Hilton debuts in Jordan

We are pleased to announce the DSA designed and delivered ‘Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa’ has officially opened in Jordan, marking the chain’s debut in the country.

The resort property comprises a 285-room hotel, together with fitness center, infinity pool, and seven F&B outlets.

Elias Moukarzel, general manager, said:

DSA wins ‘Top UAE Architectural Consultant 2016 Award’

In a recent survey by Emirates Projects Magazine, DSA were selected as the No. 1 Architectural Consultant in the United Arab Emirates for 2016.

The nomination was based upon recognition of a number of key attributes required to be regarded as ‘truly great architects’, including imagination, creativity, passion and the ability to achieve a vision that stands out as both a practical solution and a work of art.

Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon 2017

A number of DSA Dubai staff participated in the Dubai Standard Chartered Marathon 2017 events on 20th of January.

The 4km marathon and 10km started and finished at Umm Suqeim Road opposite the DSA designed Madinat Jumeirah and in the shadow of the iconic Burj Al Arab.

Everybody did fantastically well in completing the individual races finishing the full 10km marathon.

A new entry in Cape Verde Islands with the signing of Radisson Blu Beach Resort Sal

During the 2016 West African Property Investment Summit, Carlson Rezidor announced the signing of their very first resort on the Cape Verde islands. The Radisson Blu Beach Resort, Sal will feature 240 guest rooms and open its doors in third quarter of 2019. The Beach Resort will be operated by The Rezidor Hotel Group.

The five-star beach resort is located on Santa Maria, the number one beach location in the country. The resort will be designed by DSA Architects with a modern minimalistic design, first of its kind in Cape Verde.

The Radisson Blu Beach Resort, Sal will also offer two restaurants, four bars including a unique rooftop destination outlet, 800m2 wellness spa and an iconic swimming pool design with various pools and lounges leading onto a spectacular white sandy beach and ocean. The beach resort will also offer the largest conference center in Cape Verde Islands with more than 1,500m2 of dedicated meeting and event space.

The partner, East-West SA, is a high profile multi-hotel construction and management company established in France and Cape Verde. This experienced team will ensure a successful partnership based on trust, responsibility and delivering results.

Cape Verde is an island country spanning an archipelago of 10 volcanic islands in the central Atlantic Ocean. In recent years, economic growth averages 6%, as well as major infrastructure improvements, including the construction of three international airports.

Tourism is on the rise with an increase of 295% of arrivals since 2000 and over 40 direct flights a week from Europe. Cape Verde is expected to receive more than 650,000 tourists in 2016, according to the Central Tourist Authority.

Sal is the most visited island in Cape Verde and accounted for 42% of visits to Cape Verde in 2014. The Radisson Blu Beach Hotel Sal Resort is located in Santa Maria which is ranked the number one beach in Cape Verde.
