Abuja Mixed-Use Development | Abuja, Nigeria

    Client: Dr. Adenuga
Type of Project: Masterplanning proposal incorporating a mixed-use and phasing concept

This development was conceived as a ‘city within a city’ by providing a live – work – play environment within the Nigerian capital city of Abuja. It is intended to compliment the modern nature of Abuja with contemporary architecture and modern planning and provide a new node for development within the city.

The site is located on the northern edge of Abuja, alongside the Murtala Mohammed Espressway, which circumnavigates the city. The masterplanning proposal was driven by the various site forces and contextual analysis, which included visual, axial and spatial arrangements to maximize site exposure and provide uncompromising views over the site and to the mountains beyond.

The facilities include a 5-star hotel tower complimented by serviced apartments, a retail facility, High-rise Apartment Towers and numerous residential stands on the periphery, which dissipate into the surrounding landscape.

The total area of the planned development is 215 000m² of built-fabric.
