    Client: Al Fattan Properties
    Operator: Rixos
No. of Keys / Area: 213 Keys
    Completed: 2012
Type of Project: Hotel, Residences & Health Club Complex

This iconic luxury hotel is inspired by the sweeping curves of palm fronds, creating a symbiotic relationship with the Palm Jumeraih. The hotel is composed of two buildings connected by a double volume sky lit lobby.

The design of the hotel is contemporary with some traditional elements. One of the main features of the hotel is a metal musharabiya screen element that acts as a sunscreen.

The Al Fattan Residences forms the third block in the development. The building is curved and fragmented with the different planes of the apartment blocks angled to maximize views over the Lagoon and to the Arabian Gulf. The majority of the building consists of 1 and 2 bedroomed apartments, with the 4 and 5 bedroom garden townhouses occupying the ground floor.

Penthouses are located on the top floor. The base of the building is clad in stone, whilst the villas and loggias are treated in granite engraved with Arabic patterns.
