The development forms part of the greater masterplan of the new Burj Dubai Precinct. Featuring breath-taking views of the spectacular Burj Khalifa Tower, currently the world’s tallest building . In contrast to this super-building, Old Town utilises a deliberately human scale and is an interpretation of traditional Arabic town architecture. The Old Town is designed as a mixed-use ‘Town within a City’, incorporating residential apartments, a retail ‘souk’, offices and a luxury hotel.
THE PALACE HOTEL: The Palace Hotel ‘crowns’ the island, with speciality restaurants, award winning spa and health club and extensive conference and banqueting facilities. The hotel has a total of 244 keys, of which 80 are suites.
COMMERCIAL & RETAIL: The Souk encompasses 40 000m², containing 120 retail outlets, set within traditional vaulted atria. A further 8 000m² of office space is provided.
RESIDENTIAL: The development includes 1300 exquisite 1, 2, 3 and 4-bed low-rise waterfront apartments, massed around central structured parking to facilitate easy access for residents.
