A number of our South Africa office staff recently participated in The Sun International CEO SleepOut (http://www.suninternational.com/events/the-ceo-sleepout/).

The CEO SleepOut is a global humanitarian initiative launched in Australia eleven years ago, which challenges the business community to experience the discomfort of sleeping on the street (albeit for only one night), and is a night of reflection with every participant committed to roughing it for the night in order to fully understand what it is like to be homeless.

Taking place in Melrose Place, Johannesburg, the event encourages the business community to use their influence to create a better South Africa. This year, education is the focus with the bulk of funds directed to tertiary education and school bursaries and early childhood development.
