Uptown Muscat is a landmark project to be developed on a 40ha site midway between the Sultan Qaboos Mosque and the Muscat International Airport. Strategically, the site is situated at the intersection of three major highways which ensures excellent accessibility. The master plan accommodates a mix of retail, commercial, residential, hotel and cultural uses. The scheme is anchored by a linear central public space consisting of a major piazza, public water gardens, palm groves and cultural precinct, which potentially will house the Oman National Library and the Maritime Museum.
